- Sports Performance and Fitness Trainer Internships are offered at TREO Sports during the first and second semester as well as summertime. While sports performance or fitness training may be your primary role you may also gain experience with our boot camps.
- As an intern with TREO Sports & Fitness you will significantly improve your skills as a performance and/or fitness coach through a hands on experience. We serve a variety of ages and fitness levels from middle school through college for sports performance training to both young and older adults with general population fitness.
- During your internship you will assist and coach clients of all ages and most every ability level in the following areas of performance enhancement and/or fitness training
- Duties and Responsibilities:
- Dynamic warm-up and flexibility
- Injury prevention
- Plyometric drills
- Speed/Quickness
- Agility
- Explosive power/Strength exercises
- Conditioning
- Core stabilization, strength, and power exercises
- Regeneration
- Daily setup and tear down of equipment
- Body composition analysis
- Note: Additional duties may be added
