All we ask is that each client simply show up to each training session with the right attitude and work ethic and remain consistent with their attendance and our programs and expert coaching will take care of the rest.

TREO Sports & Fitness offers innovative, systematic, and progressive training programs that guarantee results.  Our training is delivered in a fun, competitive, motivational and result driven training environment with an experienced and certified performance coach in a premier state of the art facility.

We recognize that every athlete wants to perform better and reach their maximum athletic potential while maintaining injury free throughout the duration of their career while many others wish to improve their body composition and overall health.  Our 3 step system was built with this simple goal in mind – Provide a fun and result driven environment that fosters consistent and significant athletic and personal growth through innovative and effective teaching and programming methods.

As with any building, the structure must be built on a strong and stable foundation or it will eventually collapse.  The foundation of our program is built from numerous assessments with one goal in mind – To raise the level of the potential improvement our athletes, and clients, can make. We gain the necessary information from a personal goal assessment that aids us in consistently empowering our athlete’s or fitness enthusiast to accomplish their desired goal and reach the next level. Once this is established, through various tools, we begin the second half of the foundation which is assessment.  Through several different movement screens, muscle test’s, very specific joint mobility drills, and a performance test battery we assess mobility, stability, flexibility, strength, speed, power, agility and several other key indicators of overall performance that if inadequate could limit the potential improvement our client may experience and further leave them more prone to injury if not corrected. For our athletes we uncover the underlying inefficient movement patterns, muscular imbalances, and general dysfunction that may be holding them back from reaching the next level in their performance even if they increased their strength and power two fold.  This information ultimately helps us in providing the athlete with a corrective exercise program to restore optimal function, reduce their likelihood of injury, and maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of their sport-specific movement patterns.

Once the foundation is set and the athletes, coaches and parents are all on the same page, we begin to build the structure. One often overlooked part of sports performance training and sometimes fitness training is proper nutrition. Nutrition is vitally important for everyone who is looking to increase energy and properly refuel the body. If you drive a race car and try to fuel it with low grade fuel, the result will be poor performance. The result is the same with our bodies. Working out places a stress on the body that depletes it of energy and nutrients and we must replace them with the proper foods and liquids to get the most out of every calorie. We fill in the holes that may be depriving any athlete or fitness client from reaching full recovery from one workout to the next and experiencing adequate energy levels needed to sustain appropriate intensity levels during various phases of training. The importance of proper nutrition is stressed with all of our clients, and we provide them with the tools they need to fit healthy eating into any kind of lifestyle and budget.

During this second step is also where we implement the actual training program. We design a very specific, individualized program based on the client, his or her goals, past successes and failures, strengths and weaknesses and when related to athletes, specific to their sports. This is not something we take lightly. Using our professional experience and knowledge we make sure that each and every program is comprehensible, realistic to the client’s lifestyle and time constraints, and most importantly it is steered toward the goals that the client has set (jump higher, run faster, lose weight, lose body fat, etc).  Our programs are very innovative, systematic and progressive in their overall design while they are constantly tweaked according to the client’s needs to ensure the best results possible. Each exercise and acute variable (i.e. sets, reps, rest, tempo etc.) is carefully chosen based on the specific goal of the program and changes over time to ensure consistent and optimal results. Just like a student progresses from grade school through college we systematically progress each client from one phase or level to another based on their competency and ability to excel at the current phase. This system of training provides optimal execution from one level to the next for consistent results.

Once each previous mentioned step is implemented, we then come back to the assessment phase; this time for numerous re-assessments to ensure progress is being made.  This is a perpetually critical step as it is these various assessments given throughout the duration of the program that give us, as Performance Coaches’ the immediate feedback we need to continue moving in the right direction at a fast speed. This information helps us to effectively refine the program and make any necessary adjustments to ensure continued progress. We make sure that the client is comfortable with the program; they are making drastic improvement, and moving closer to their specific goals.

Although our training programs build every aspect of the athlete to perform at their best we have a number of different specialized programs for those looking for the extra edge with a higher vertical jump, enhanced multi-directional 1st step quickness, a significant boost in their acceleration or any other athletic goal.
